How to Clean Your Sylvanian Families

 

I have around 20 families not including all the babies that came from carry case sets. Some of them are old with bald patches but others are new with nice clothes, but what happens if they needed a wash?! 

Lets say your critters are dusty. Your Sylvanian should be brushed with a soft toothbrush until any dust is off.

What if you just need to wash it?

1- Get a cup of cold, mild soapy water, a cup of warm plain water, a flannel, and toilet paper.

2- Dip your Sylvanian in cold water for three seconds. Then take it out.

3- Gently scrub with flannel.

4- Dip the Sylvanian in the fresh warm water for 5 seconds, take it out and wrap it in toilet paper. 

5- Peel off the toilet paper once you have dried most of the water off.

6- Place in sun for a few minutes. 

7- Enjoy your clean Sylvanian critter.

My Sylvanians

 My collection started with the Persian Cat family. Then I got the cosy cottage starter set and got more families including the hedgehogs and a Whiskers cat baby. I got lots of furniture including beds, kitchens, and lounges. I have a small town with a park, market with the Soft Serve Ice cream stand, Fruit Wagon, Hotdog van,  a doctor clinic, and Supermarket.

Now my collection still grows and comes to life when I set up their houses to be very realistic.
